Refund Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains when a payment to StoryIntoVideo can be refunded and how we work out the amount. Nothing in it limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

1. What this policy covers

It applies to every payment made on StoryIntoVideo: • subscriptions — Creator, Pro and Studio, billed monthly or yearly; • one-time credit packs, including the $9.9 Trial Pack. All payments are made by card through Stripe.

2. Immediate delivery and your right of withdrawal

Credits are digital content. When you buy a plan or a pack, you ask us to deliver it straight away, and the credits are added to your account as soon as the payment succeeds. You agree that once you start using those credits, the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies to the part you have used. The part you have not used is not affected: it can still be refunded under this policy.

3. 14-day window

You can ask for a refund within 14 calendar days of the payment it relates to. After 14 days we no longer refund that payment. You can still cancel a subscription at any time to stop future charges, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.

4. How the amount is calculated

Refund = amount paid × (1 − credits used from this payment ÷ credits included in this payment)

Each payment is calculated on its own, counting only the credits that came with it. If every credit from that payment has been used, there is nothing left to refund.

5. What counts as used

Counted as used: credits spent on shot images, animation and premium voiceover, and on any paid action in the editor, such as redrawing or animating a shot. Not counted as used: credits that were returned to your account automatically after a generation failed. If you hold credits from more than one payment, the credits that expire soonest are spent first. That order decides which payment a credit was used from.

6. Examples

• $9.9 Trial Pack with 100 credits, 40 used: $9.9 × (1 − 40 ÷ 100) = $5.94. • Creator monthly at $19 with 600 credits, 150 used: $19 × (1 − 150 ÷ 600) = $14.25.

7. Yearly plans

A yearly plan is paid once, but its credits are released month by month, so a refund is split the same way: months already released are refunded using the formula above, and months not yet released are refunded in full. For example, on a $155 Creator yearly plan one month’s share is $155 ÷ 12. If one month has been released and 300 of its 600 credits are used, the refund is $155 ÷ 12 × (1 − 300 ÷ 600) for that month plus $155 ÷ 12 × 11 for the eleven months still to come — about $148.54 in total.

8. After a refund

Once a refund is made, the subscription or pack it paid for ends immediately, any credits left from it are cancelled, and your account returns to the free tier unless you hold another active plan or pack. Videos you have already made are not affected and remain yours.

9. When the money arrives

Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

10. Exceptions

We may decline a refund where a payment shows signs of abuse: bulk generation aimed at obtaining a refund, repeated sign-ups, accounts suspended for breaching the Terms of Service, and payments already disputed with your bank (chargebacks), which are settled through the dispute process instead.

11. How to request a refund

Email support@storyintovideo.com with your account email and the date of the payment. We reply within 3 business days.
